Here's a tight thumbnail for my last project of the symester. The theme is obsession, mine is about my former video game habit, and where I might be if I hadn't curbed it. Gotta add even more details, emphasising the clutter and grossness.

Wet Cement

Here's a piece I did for my friend Jeff Poot's zine, Wet Cement, Issue "1 or 2". It's most of the first issue with a bunch of new stuff, including this.

La di da di, I hate party people

I skipped Halloween this year after my A.C Slater costume didn't pan out, and made these.. airbrushed acrylic on rives paper. The bottom stencil is based on Bernini's Ecstasy of St. Theresa statue, and the halo is a bike chain ring. T-shirts are a-coming, once I get more time and some money for blanks.

Ghost World Shirt!!

My absolute favorite movie. Did this with stencils and airbrush. This is a ladies' medium "blouse" thing I got at Goodwill. More to come, I want to make one with Seymour, Buscemi's character. Hope to have a bunch of shirts for sale up here by December.

Demo Cover

This is the cover of my band Fuddy Duddys demo, which might never come out, we're in limbo now that Josh moved away. Plus I go back to classes next week so I might have to just cut the shit... this band was really fun in any case.

Post 2

I'm committed now to updating this thing at least once a week. Ok one more month of summer, and a bunch of goals.. in august I plan on making a few time lapse videos of me airbrush painting, and editing them all nice for youtube. Also, I'm gonna make a few flash animations and put them up. I'll also make shirts, patches, and stickers with the stencil-airbrush techniques I've been developing. Currrently, my domain www.tissuetrail.com is re-directed to here. I plan on documenting my dumb artistic journey on this thing. I don't know if it'll be worth it to read, but it's worth it for me to start writing, and thinking more lucidly about this stuff. I had planned on having tissuetrail.com up and running by the time classes start in September, but I think I'll push that back to winter break. I can't learn Dreamweaver in the summer, plus the blog is good enough for now. I'll hopefully be designing stuff for a small business 2 of my friends started as well. Here's my first shirt, I made it for Josh with a stencil by Jeff Poot. It's the logo of a band called Crass...

Firsty

Ok hi, my first blog, first post, yuck. Not quite sure how I'll really use this thing, but I'm gonna start by posting a few illustrations I did earlier this year. This was for an Illustration I class, I made a new album cover for the classic Cannibal Ox LP, The Cold Vein. Forgot the title...
This is for my friends' band. Too bad they broke up before they got to use it, I wanted it to be a tour flyer.
